Meditation in the Woods

Overview

Step into the forest at Maison GH and slow everything down. We gather in a secluded woodland clearing for a gentle, fully guided meditation that blends breathwork, body awareness and attentive listening to the sounds of the woods. It’s simple, restoring, and beautifully held—luxury in the form of calm.

What you’ll do

  • Arrive and ground with a short mindful walk

  • Guided breath and body scan to release the day

  • Quiet seated (or lying) meditation under the canopy

  • Closing stretch and herbal tisane

Who it’s for

Anyone looking for a clear head and a softer nervous system—beginners welcome, no experience needed.

Session details

  • Duration: 60–75 minutes

  • Group size: intimate, {6–12} guests

  • Times: {sunrise / golden hour} starts for softer light and quieter woods

  • Location: private clearing on the grounds of Maison GH, Périgord

What to bring

A light layer, comfortable shoes, a small cushion or folded blanket (we provide mats), and water. Natural insect repellent if you’re sensitive.

Good to know

  • We sit outdoors when weather allows; if needed, we move to a candle-lit indoor space.

  • Terrain is natural and uneven in places; please wear suitable footwear.

  • This is a wellbeing experience, not medical treatment.
