Our story

Maison G.H. grew slowly, built by hand shaped by the forest, and softened by time. It’s our home first, a guesthouse second. Four rooms, a garden that won’t stop growing, and a few too many chickens.
Now it’s part hideaway, part daydream.

Mornings smell like coffee, croissants, and honey from down the road. Evenings blur with candlelight, good wine, and long conversations that never quite end.
Bees work the roses.
The air smells like bread, fig leaves, and woodsmoke.
You might swim in the lake. You might not.
You might end up barefoot in the garden, glass in hand, forgetting what time was ever for.

Sometimes we host dinners in the garden.
Sometimes we watch the stars come out.
Sometime we do absolutely nothing at all.

We live simply, beautifully, and a little off script.

What We Believe

Small is beautiful. Four rooms are plenty.

Nature leads. The weather decides the mood.

Quiet luxury. Soft sheets, slow mornings, no pretence.

Good company. Real people, easy laughter, genuine warmth.

What to Expect

Slow mornings. Forest air.
Sunlight through the leaves.
Breakfasts that last until lunch.
A garden that feeds you in every sense..
Spaces that breathe.
